We dream big–reimagining and co-creating a future world in which women and men are compensated equally for their work. The Global Gender Economic Forum was established in October 2016 in London, UK as a unique international platform to help present and future global leaders and organizations disrupt the status quo of the gender economic gap and the issue that contribute to inequity in compensation and position for women at work worldwide.
GGEF hosts events, workshops, panels, and discussions shaped by the United Nations sustainable development goal #5 to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls. Affirming the beliefs that organizations are accountable to all parts of society and therefore responsible in taking a part in the processes of creating solutions to address global gender economic parity and issues surrounding it. Through GGEF we are building a sustainable community and a network of global citizens to create and refine bold and innovative ideas to gaining economic parity for women everywhere. Our year builds up to an annual 3-day conference London each year, that reinvigorates these ideas and inspires us to continue these solution-based conversations surrounding gender equity.
Each year, GGEF curates an engaging lineup of experts, presenters, panelists, and workshop moderators. At every step of the conference planning process, the conventional conference structure of “speaker” + “listener” is reimagined and reworked to maximize interaction between content and attendee. As lifelong leaders and learners, our presenters incorporate things such as design thinking to create and refine bold and innovative ideas.
Through the Forum we are building a sustainable community and a network of global citizens to create and refine bold and innovative ideas to gaining economic equity for women everywhere.
